Arraial d´Ajuda is located in the Northeast region of Brazil, in the South region of Bahia State. It has a 2,460 km2 area.
The central zone of Arraial d’Ajuda is located on a crag, about 25 meters high, being its approximate latitude 16° 27' and longitude 39°04'.

Santa Cruz Cabrália and Eunápolis are to the North, Itabela to the West, Itamaraju to the Southwest, Prado to the South and the Atlantic Ocean to the East.
Part of the Discovery Coast region, Arraial d’Ajuda is close to other locations such as Trancoso, Caraiva, Vale Verde, all of them part of the municipality of Porto Seguro.
